A small boy lost at jafarabad metro station

The Delhi metro started in 1995, as a red line between tiz hazari and shahadara, till now has been serving this metropolitan with a total of 10 lines engulfing the whole city. But still it has to cover up a lot of dearths in the system. On Thursday, i was in metro, it stopped at jafarabad station on pink line when a family entered. They were four, father, mother, grandma and a 4-5 years old boy. The father was holding his son’s hand. Everything was good until he suddenly left his hand and rushed out of the train. Before his father could do something, the gates ceased and the next he realized that he had lost his kid. You know, once the gates are closed, you cannot do anything but wait for the train to stop at the next station. And so did he. At the next station he took an opposite train and rushed back towards jafarabad. The mother and grandma remained at that station in hope that someone would bring their kid from the next train. We don’t know whether he was found or not, but we can say that there are still some flaws that are needed to be scrutinized by DMRC so that these things can be prevented in future.
